NewsCalvin Harris announces US showsCalvin Harris has announced two shows in the US, taking place next month. Following the news that he will join fans in the UK to attempt to set a new world-record for the most house parties happening simultaneously across the country on August 18, Harris will perform the US shows to support the release of 'I Created Disco', out September 4. As previously reported, the fan that creates the most inspired and creative party of the night will not only win a live performance from Calvin in their house but will also receive ?1,500 prize money. The US dates are: New York, NY Mercury Lounge (September 12) Los Angeles, CA The Echo (14) REM to release their first live album REM are to release their first live album on October 18. 'REM Live' is a two-CD, one DVD set recording on February 27, 2005 in Dublin's The Point venue, reports Billboard. As well as a slew of hits, The album will features rarities such as the previously unreleased 'I'm Gonna DJ', which is expected to feature on the band's next studio abum.
